You’ve probably heard it said “All roads lead to Rome” or “All religions lead to God” – but is that true? Does it matter what we believe? Can God be worshipped in whatever way we please?

The Bible says….

John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Acts 4:10-12 “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Matthew 15:8-9 “This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth, and honours me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

This was an important message for us to preach in Thailand, where 97% of the people are Buddhists, but it is no less relevant in Canada, or the rest of the world, where many don’t believe in God or Jesus at all, or have a false understanding of who God is, and who his Son is!

John 17:1-3 “These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

We’ve just come through the Christmas season, and some say at this time of year… ‘Wise men still seek him!’ That’s true today and every day.

Today, we ask you to re-evaluate your understanding of God and Jesus. Take time to dig deep into the Bible, explore it, read it effectively for yourself – it’s life eternal to KNOW the Father and the Son! Keep searching.

Here’s the chart we used in Thailand to share this message 🙂
